Terms and Conditions
If you choose to make your booking online via our website, you will need to complete the online form which will be emailed to the restaurant. Once the restaurant has received the details, they will contact you within 6 hours (during normal opening hours) to confirm the booking, until you receive this booking confirmation from us your booking is not confirmed.
If you’re going to be late please call the restaurant and let us know and we’ll do our best to help you. if you are more than 10 minutes later than your booking time and have not notified us, we may have to give your table away to other guests.
We require at least 48 hours notice via email if you need to cancel your group bookings. If you do not have access to the internet, please call the restaurant and speak to the manager on duty to cancel your booking. During November and December, bookings for groups of 5 and more are subject to a non-refundable deposit of £10 per person. your booking email will contain all the details of this.
If your party is proving popular and your numbers are increasing or you have lost a few guests along the way please give us at least 48 hours notice. Please note that any substantial increase in guest numbers is subject to availability.
We can cater for guests with different dietary requirements but please speak to your server for further information and menu options, please also notify us in advance and we will try our best to assist you and your guests. if you are sharing food with others in your group, please be aware that we cannot be responsible for any allergic reactions in those eating something other than the food they ordered. each of our eateries has an allergen guide available to look at it, so please do ask if you’re not sure. we must tell you that our food is prepared in a kitchen where allergenic ingredients may be present so we can’t guarantee that anything is 100% free of these things at all times. please note that ALL food prepared at tamatanga is likely to have traces of nuts and we cannot guarantee anything is 100% nut free.
No food/beverages except those supplied by tamatanga are permitted to be consumed on the premises.
All group bookings must order food, unfortunately we do not cater for drinks only. Please note that we operate the “Challenge 25” policy and management reserve the right to refuse admission at all times.
If one of your guests has any special requirements (e.g. space for a wheel chair, kids high chair) please ensure you let the restaurant know in advance so that we can ensure all of your guests enjoy the tamatanga experience and we reserve the best table in the restaurant for your party.
The authorising signatory of the booking will be responsible for the actions and behaviour of all members of the party. tamatanga reserves the right to recover the cost for any damages/losses however caused.
